BMX Track – Conditions of Use
Please read and understand the following conditions before using the BMX Track.

Permitted Usage

Use of the BMX Track is permitted for:

  • Member of the SCF National Youth Development, National Development or National Training Squad.
  • Permitted to use during training sessions with the National BMX Coach or appointed coaches.
  • Use outside of training sessions, unless prior arranged and agreed, must be through the public individual use booking system.
  • Individuals or Groups who sign-up for a programme conducted by SCF or SCF Accredited Training Partners (ATP).
  • Entry allowed through booking of a programme conducted on the BMX Track.
  • Permitted entry on the days and times of the programme.
  • All other requests to make use of the BMX Track outside of the programme days and times must be made through the SCF managed public individual use booking system.

Venue Capacity: 30 riders at any one time

Public Booking System

Reservation for a preferred time slot must be made through SCF's public individual use booking system. There are 2 types of individual use slots:

  • Open slots – for anyone who has either completed the competency assessment or with prior BMX race experience. No age restrictions. Only those with a timeslot will be allowed in. Parents/guardians who wish to enter the track will need to book and purchase a slot.
  • Young rider slots – for riders 12 and below only. Up to 2 accompanying parent/guardian (non-riders) will be allowed in to the track.

Bookings are in half day or full day time slots.

Specific time slots will be allocated for those under 12 years old, where accompanying parents will be allowed in the track.

Parents will not be allowed into the track in the open time slots. By booking an open timeslot, for dependents under 12 years old, parents/guardians acknowledge that their child/ward is self-sufficient, and able to use the track on their own.

All individual use bookings – 12 and below, and open bookings, do not include any provision of a Coach. Use of the track is unsupervised.

To ensure safety and rider competency, booking of individual slots (without a Coach), will only be allowed after the rider clears a competency assessment or shows proof of prior BMX racing experience (for e.g. have taken part in at least two BMX races overseas).

Riders who upload irrelevant results will not be allowed on the track and their booking voided, with no refund given.

For private coaching sessions, a programme booking has to be made, from SCF's approved list of coaches (this must not be an individual use track booking).

Personal Accident and Liability Insurance

The purchase of a UCI license (with personal accident and liability insurance) is mandatory for all users of the track. This is a one-time yearly additional cost for:

  • Booking of any individual use slot
  • Registration for all programmes at the track
  • For participation for any event at the BMX Track and Pump Track

Only first-time riders of the track who sign up for a trial/introduction lesson, need not purchase the UCI license. There will be grace period of 2 weeks to try out before needing to purchase a UCI license.

For users under 6 years old, the UCI license is not applicable. Parents can contact Great Eastern (Jori Lim – 9180 5581 or Gwendolyn Tan – 9296 9124) to purchase a Personal Accident Plan for kids under 6 years old, at a preferential rate. Parents/guardians must acknowledge that a relevant insurance is in force for their child/ward.
